Upcoming Events
NautiCom Communications prides ourselves on connecting business and industry contacts through networking and relationships. We have several local events that we are hosting in the coming months to provide additional value to the yachting industry. Through community involvement, we are also working with some local charitibale organizations to promote a few worthy events.
I hope everyone has had an opportunity to catch their breath after an incredible run of events this season — from Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, to METSTRADE in Amsterdam, and wrapping up with another standout NautiCom Networker at Livia Bar & Grill. This year has been a powerful reminder of why relationships, collaboration, and community remain at the heart of what we do.
After more than 30 years in the yachting industry, hosting our own booth at FLIBS and launching the International Superyacht Alliance have been among the most meaningful milestones of my career. Thank you to everyone who stopped by, supported our partners, and shared in this exciting new chapter. From Florida to Amsterdam, it has been inspiring to work alongside our international colleagues and continue building connections worldwide.
Our networking events continue to be about bringing people together. If you’ve missed any of our recent NautiCom Networkers, you can view photos below. I am incredibly grateful to Livia Bar & Grill for hosting our latest event and to our prior networking hosts who helped grow our industry and our businesses throughout the year, including iL Mulino, The Tower Club, Truluck’s Fort Lauderdale Beach, The House on the River, and Tamarindo Harbor Italian Grill & Bar. Your partnership has helped make this community what it is.
As we look ahead to the holidays, I want to thank you for your continued support and wish you and your families a joyful season. We already have exciting initiatives and events planned for 2026 — so stay tuned. The best is yet to come.

Take a Hero Fishing | Fleet Week
Monday, April 28, 2025
For more than 15 years, it has been the greatest honor for me and my team to support the countless men and women who have dedicated their lives to protect our country. Special thanks to our incredible fishing community leaders that have stepped up to enable the team to host my Take a Hero Fishing Tournament event for visiting military members during Fleet Week Fort Lauderdale and Broward Navy Days, Inc. for a day of fishing, fun and hospitality. Their generosity, enthusiasm, and passion have made this event truly special.
In addition to our fishermen, this event wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our community sponsors: Pier Sixty-Six Marina for use of their docks, Gina & Paul Castronovo, The Paul Castronovo Show and New York Marina Deli for hosting breakfast and Stephens Distributing Company for providing beer for the boats.

Miami Marine Council
The Marine Council is a not-for-profit trade association whose mission is to serve as The Guardian of the Marine Community in Miami Dade County. Given the many challenges that marine interests now face – this mission is even more important today than it was when the Marine Council was founded more than 57 years ago.
While its membership represents all facets of the local marine community, the Marine Council’s primary focus is on the recreational marine industry where it remains the leading advocacy group for recreational boating interests in Miami-Dade County.
Meeting monthly at a local restaurant this group provides presentations and networking events to learn about the marine happenings in the community.

Miami Maritime Arbitration Council (MMAC)
The MMAC was established more than 30 years ago by the Marine Council, a non-profit marine trade association whose mission is to serve as the Guardian of the Marine Community. MMAC was created with the specific purpose of maintaining and administering a system for settlement – by arbitration or mediation – of maritime commercial disputes. Turning to the MMAC for help is not mandatory; the parties must request intervention and agree to operate under the rules of that organization.
For some disputes there is simply no option but to settle them in court. However, there are just as many others which can be solved by simpler and less-expensive means that leave both parties feeling justice has been served. Working with yacht brokers and maritime industry professionals to ensure that this is the dispute option in contracts.
