NautiCom Communications
NautiCom Communications, Inc was founded by President Kitty McGowan while she was serving as the director of association services for Marine Industries Association of South Florida (MIASF). Now, over 10 years later, the company has clients ranging from charities to chambers and associations to events. They are successful with all different groups because of their attention to details and processes as well as a skilled, professional staff.

Kitty McGowan
President
Ms. McGowan holds a bachelor-of-science degree in public relations and marketing from the Florida State University. In addition, she has more than 22 years of experience in all areas of event management, public relations and advertising.
She spent nearly three years developing the national fishing tournament fundraising efforts with the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation. During that time she, with a team of national directors, helped raise nearly $3 million nationwide and increased the number of events by 50%.
Ms. McGowan ran the Fort Lauderdale Billfish Tournament for the past 11 years and during that time significantly increased participation and the pay-out to more than $225,000 in cash and prizes. She also successfully started the Los Suenos Billfish Tournament Series in Costa Rica and the Fort Lauderdale Kingfish Classic.
Kitty has extensive experience in a multitude of event planning activities including corporate outings, fishing tournaments, golf tournaments, black-tie functions and fundraisers of all types. No event is too big or too small!
Julie Sack
Director
Julie Sack holds a bachelor of science in public relations with an outside concentration in recreation, travel and tourism from the University of Florida. She has extensive experience in all types of event management. Her experience runs the gamut from Black-Tie affairs and intimate gatherings to major sporting events with thousands in attendance as well as a special interest in fishing tournaments. Ms. Sack has been the right-hand manager for all events and Association management with NautiCom Communications, Inc. for the past six years.
A few highlights of her event experience include: The Miami Dolphins Fishing Tournament, The Orange Bowl Committee, Superbowl XXXIII Host Committee, South Florida’s Breeder’s Cup Host Committee, the Alex Fernandez Royal Caribbean Celebrity Golf Classic and the Miami Dolphins Superbowl of Fashion.
